Document Shredding Event – Spring 2026

The next SCSSD Document Shredding Event is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 10th & Bigler Streets, from 9:00am to 11:30am. Rain or shine.

SCSSD is offering this FREE opportunity for residents to securely shred their personal documents. Please, no businesses! SCSSD reserves the right to turn away.

To date, SCSSD has hosted 30 document shredding events for our neighbors, and the related demand continues!

This event provides a dual benefit of preventing identity theft and helping to save our environment. In total, the shredding events have successfully recycled 115.9 tons of paper! That is equivalent to saving 1,969 trees!
