2024 Cleaning Team Totals

The SCSSD Cleaning Team had a busy 2024! The crew worked over 12,051 total hours and collected 4,199 bags of litter and 9,417 bags of leaves and debris. This annual collection had a combined weight of 334,290 pounds (167 tons)!

In addition, the crew removed curbside weeds from all District streets, assisted neighbors with the pickup of bulk leaves, and collected 35 truckloads of fallen tree branches.

Also, in 2024, SCSSD submitted 69 “City 311” requests for various topics, and removed 546 illegal signs/posters throughout the District.

The SCSSD Cleaning Team continues to routinely check the 12 dog waste stations located throughout the District three times per week, adding small pick-up bags and changing out trash can liners as needed.
