2020 Document Shredding Event

The SCSSD Document Shredding Event has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 19, 2020. The shredding truck will visit one location only, 10th & Bigler Streets, from 9:00AM to 12:00PM. This event will follow current safety guidelines for social distancing and will require all participants to wear a face covering, NO EXCEPTIONS!

• Shred participants will be lined up in a socially distant queue with line markings spaced 6 feet apart, leading to the shredding truck. Please follow signage for direction.
• Shred participants must place their shred materials on a table in front of the shredding truck. The operator will place shred materials in a bin for loading into shredding truck.
• Please place documents in a paper bag. This will help keep the line moving, as the entire paper bag and its contents can be placed directly into the bin for shredding.
• After drop-off, shred participants must leave the area and will not be able to congregate near the truck to watch their documents be shredded.
